Fierté Montreal Pride – RuPaul's Drag Race Drag Show

At the time, I was working with a local Drag King on a behind-the-scenes short detailing how drag kings are perceived in the drag community, the challenges of practicing for a large performance, and the pressure of being a King among Queens. They were the only drag king to perform among several local drag queens and Drag Race alums.

While they prepared for their performance, I had the opportunity to photograph the half-time show cast. To capture performance details and wider shots of the audience, I used a 24-120mm lens. This allowed me to frame the subjects effectively while simultaneously being considerate of the space around me.
