Fierté Montreal Pride – RuPaul's Drag Race Drag Show

At the time, I was working with a local Drag King on a behind-the-scenes film that detailed how Drag Kings are perceived in the drag community, the challenges of preparing for a large performance, and the pressure of being a King among Queens. They were the only Drag King performing alongside several local drag queens and Drag Race alums.

While they prepared for their performance, I photographed the cast. To capture performance details and wider shots of the audience, I used a 24-120mm lens. This allowed me to frame the subjects effectively while being considerate of the space around me.

Proudly, some of the drag queens posted my photos without attribution. Promptly, members of the community, in a concerted effort, began to ethically spam the comment section to get me attributed for the photos. So, thank you to the drag community of Montreal and to my close friends for supporting drag and supporting photographers.
